These terms govern your use of Tandemonium and the games.usersfirst.com website, operated by Users First, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By playing Tandemonium or using our website, you agree to these terms.

The Game

Tandemonium is a browser-based tandem bicycle game. The game is provided "as is" — we do our best to keep it running smoothly but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Accounts

You may optionally sign in with Google to access leaderboards, multiplayer hosting, and license features. You are responsible for your account activity. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Purchases & Refunds

Purchases are processed through Stripe or Steam. If you're unhappy with your purchase, contact us at games@usersfirst.com within 14 days for a refund. Promo codes and promotional periods may be offered at our discretion and can be modified or ended at any time.

Acceptable Use

When using Tandemonium, you agree not to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate leaderboards
  • Harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately toward other players
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the game code
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the game
  • Attempt to access other players' accounts or private data

Multiplayer

Multiplayer uses peer-to-peer connections. You are responsible for your own network connection. We provide signaling and relay services on a best-effort basis. Video and audio features during multiplayer require your explicit permission and can be disabled at any time.

User Content

If you save or share gameplay clips, you retain ownership of your recordings. By sharing clips through the game's built-in features, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use shared clips for promotional purposes.

Intellectual Property

Tandemonium, its code, artwork, music, and branding are owned by Users First, LLC. Your license to play is personal and non-transferable. You may stream or create content featuring Tandemonium — we encourage it.

Tandemonium uses the following third-party assets, each licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0):

Early Access

Tandemonium is currently in Early Access. Features, levels, and game mechanics may change. Purchasing during Early Access grants you access to the current version and all future updates.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Users First, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tandemonium. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the game.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the game at any time. On termination, your license to play ends but your local game data remains on your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
