Users First, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website games.usersfirst.com and the game Tandemonium. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

Tandemonium is designed to collect as little data as possible.

  • Game Data: Achievements, leaderboard scores, and game preferences are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device.
  • Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your display name and profile picture to personalize your leaderboard entry. We do not access your email, contacts, or other Google account data.
  • Multiplayer Connections: When playing multiplayer, peer-to-peer connections are established directly between players using WebRTC. Connection data (IP addresses) is exchanged through a signaling server but is not stored by us.
  • Gameplay Analytics: We collect anonymous gameplay data to improve the game, including: session information (device type, screen size, input method), ride metrics (level played, completion, crashes, distance), and flow events (tutorial progress, menu navigation). This data is tied to a random session ID, not your identity. We do not use tracking cookies or share data with advertisers.

How We Use Information

  • To provide and improve the game experience
  • To display your name on leaderboards (if signed in)
  • To establish multiplayer connections between players
  • To understand gameplay patterns and improve level design, difficulty tuning, and tutorial effectiveness
  • To process purchases and manage license entitlements

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Multiplayer connections are peer-to-peer, meaning game data flows directly between players without passing through our servers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe or Steam under their own privacy policies.

Data Storage & Security

Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Google, your display name may be stored on our leaderboard server hosted on Cloudflare. Gameplay analytics are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. We use reasonable security measures to protect any data we handle.

Children's Privacy

Tandemonium is designed to be family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Clear your local game data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage
  • Revoke Google Sign-In access through your Google account settings
  • Contact us to request deletion of any leaderboard or analytics data associated with your account
